Master your Breath.
Master your Life.

Serving your Breathing

Blue River Breathwork (BRB) is here to serve your breathing by:

  • Educating

  • Providing resources

  • Guiding breath experiences

None of us were taught to breathe - and about 90% of us need to improve our breathing!

When we are aware of our breathing, our mental, emotional and physical health improves.

BRB has guided thousands of people from around the world including competitive athletes, fast-growing companies, hospice centers and everything in between.

While our framework for guidance stays the same, every experience is altered based on the needs of the group in that moment.

  • Alex & Deagan are advanced practitioners and have taught breathing classes to thousands of people from all walks of life. Their approach is rooted in gentleness, agency, and welcoming.

Gentleness- We’ve found that slow & steady is much more effective at correcting breathing patterns. In the group, there is no competition or need to “go hard”.

Agency- At any given moment, participants are able to “choose their own adventure”. Some may want to take it slow while others want to take it fast and that’s celebrated!

Welcoming- This experience can be very therapeutic. Different emotions, memories, and states might arise and all are welcome. BRB is prepared to handle a variety of experiences participants and no one is rushed out of class.

Your Teachers & Guides

Alex & Deagan are a husband and wife team that created Blue River Breathwork. You can read more in the About Us section.

  • From infant respiratory viruses, to asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis, and chronic anxiety attacks, Alex knows exactly what it’s like to feel he’s a victim to his own breath and lungs.

For Alex, the first time doing breathwork felt like “the lights were turned back on” - mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Alex is an Advanced Breathwork Facilitator who has learned from and studied under a variety of teachers spanning multiple lineages.

  • Deagan’s breathwork journey began with her mother’s terminal diagnosis.

For the first time in her life she was feeling that she wasn’t showing up the way she wanted to. The emotional stress and anxiety on top of being the primary caretaker was overwhelming.

To process the emotions, anxiety, fear, anger, and sadness she turned to breathwork. This outlet helped her enormously to continue to show up as the caretaker, daughter, sister, and wife she needed and wanted to be.

After experiencing the benefits of breathwork firsthand, she underwent the Breathwork Facilitator Training to continue learning information to not only help herself, but to begin serving others.
