Stop Taking a Deep Breath.

Take a Soft
Breath.

You’ve heard “take a deep breath” your whole life…

But what if that deep breath actually makes
stress or anxiety worse?

Most of us were never taught how to breathe in a way that truly helps relax the body and quiet the mind.

We’re here to change that.

At Blue River Breathwork, we help women who are in their next chapter.

The empty nesters, the caretakers, and the recent retirees become more
present and feel more peace when others need them most.

I’m in, let’s do this ❤️

The first step is to learn how your breath is keeping you stuck in stress and a gentle way to get out of it with just your breath.

The lesson is free. Submit your email below and get it instantly.

No Spam. Just breath tips & tricks that have helped us and our community.

What you’ll get in the free lesson is:

  • Knowledge: A science-backed explanation about the “ Anxiety Loop” that keeps you stuck in stress.

“Breathing with Deagan and Alex is a pleasure. Their balanced vibes create a really safe and cozy space to drop into the experience. I'm always a little unsure of myself when I approach Breathwork, but each time I've practiced with these teachers I leave feeling fulfilled, refreshed, and renewed.

If you’re like most people we’ve worked with, no one taught you how to breathe.

Maybe you’ve tasted some breath techniques at mindfulness or yoga classes. Those helped, but didn’t translate over to your everyday life.

Our goal is to help you soothe your stress and wash your worries by making healthy daily breathing a habit outside of class.

We live in a stressed, anxious, and worried world.

But You don’t have to worry with it.

Be the present & peaceful person you need to be so you can serve others even better. It all starts with this free lesson.

Deagan and Alex cultivated a beautiful and safe space for individuals (most who had never met before!) to work through our insecurities, traumas, and wounds - while providing the breathwork tools that we can use in every day life to help overcome these obstacles.

Some of the pain in my body, heart and spirit can be difficult to access for the sole purpose of letting it go. Often it finds it's way to the surface when I least expect it or it seeps out when leaving me feeling stuck and heavy. The unique power within breath work and specifically this breath practice is that we arrive together, in support of one's own experience, with like minded people and we breath in and out.

Your Breath & Stress Guides

Alex & Deagan are a husband and wife team that live in the mountains of Western North Carolina. They co-founded Blue River Breathwork in the wake of a disastrous flood & hurricane that ravaged through the land and towns they love. During that time, they served best by helping people breathe through what happened. Since their community has begun to recover, they now bring these teachings to those involved with Hospice Care for free.

  • From infant respiratory virus, to asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis, and chronic anxiety attacks- Alex knows what it’s like to feel a victim to his own breath and lungs.

Alex’s often refers to the first time of doing breathwork as “the lights turning back on” for his mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing

He is an Advanced Breathwork Facilitator who has studied from a host of different teachers and breathing traditions.

  • Deagan’s breathwork journey began with the diagnosis of her mother’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreas cancer.

It was the first time she couldn’t sleep or function at her best due to the stress and anxiety of being a caretaker for her mother was overwhelming.

To process this intense time in her life, she turned to breathwork which enormously helped her as a caretaker, daughter, and sister.

Shortly after the passing of her mom, she underwent Breathwork Facilitator Training for her own wellbeing and in service to others.

You take care of others.
But this one is for you and them.
